The orchard
Our young orchard of apple trees and Williams pears grows on the hill. The rest of the fruit we buy from trusted farmers nearby — all of it unsprayed, natural and local.
About us
Brbonov grič is a small family farm in Založe near Polzela, Slovenia. From homegrown, unsprayed fruit we make brandies, juice, vinegar and dried fruit.

Our story
Brbonov grič is a family farm in Založe near Polzela. Fruit growing and winemaking have a long tradition in the family, and our grandparents also dried fruit. From that tradition grew the wish to turn homegrown fruit into something that lasts. Distilling is something we started ourselves.
Ten years ago we planted the apple trees, and six years ago the Williams pears. The rest of the fruit comes from local farmers we know. All the fruit is unsprayed, natural and local.
We turn it into brandies, juice, vinegar and dried fruit — with no added sugar, flavourings or preservatives. The awards tell us we are on the right track: in 2026 our apple juice won gold at both the Dobrote slovenskih kmetij festival and the AGRA fair.

How we work
01
Our young orchard of apple trees and Williams pears grows on the hill. The rest of the fruit we buy from trusted farmers nearby — all of it unsprayed, natural and local.
02
Fruit is processed fresh. Juice is pressed and bottled straight away, and the brandies are distilled the traditional way, which keeps the genuine aroma of the fruit.
03
Apples and pears are dried the natural way, with no sugar, colouring or preservatives. The Williams pears are dried unpeeled.
04
We pack every bottle and bag ourselves. Because we work in small quantities, we can adapt an order — from the size of the bottle to the dedication on a gift.
